Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the MCVoteStats website, published by MYROLAME: browsing the ranking, voting for servers, creating an account, and publishing server listings and reviews. Using the site means you accept these terms. Purchases are also governed by the terms of sale.

2. Account

• Creating an account is free. You can sign up with an email address and a password, or with Google, Apple or Discord.
• You agree to provide a valid email address and to keep your password secret. Any action taken from your account is deemed to have been taken by you.
• If you are under 15, ask a parent for permission before creating an account. Purchases are reserved for adults or for people authorized by their parents.
• You can delete your account at any time from your account area (Profile → Delete my account).

3. Votes

• Voting is free and open to everyone, with a Minecraft username, limited to one vote per server per interval shown on the vote page.
• The following are prohibited: automated votes (scripts, bots), repeated use of VPNs or proxies to vote several times, buying or selling votes, and any other way of getting around the limits.
• Fraudulent votes are removed without notice. A server that benefits from them may be suspended.

4. Server listings

• Only the owner or a manager of a server may list it. The information (address, version, modes, description, banner) must be accurate and up to date.
• The following are prohibited on listings: illegal, hateful, pornographic or violent content; infringement of the rights of others; misleading promises; selling in-game advantages in breach of the Minecraft usage guidelines published by Mojang; links to malicious sites.
• The team reviews each server before publication and may refuse, suspend or remove a listing that does not follow these rules, or a server that has been offline for a long time. The reason is sent to the owner.
• By publishing a listing, you authorize the publisher to display its content (text, banner, logo) on the site and in its previews for as long as the listing is published.

5. Reviews

• A member whose email address is confirmed may publish one review per server. It must reflect a real experience of the server.
• Abusive, defamatory, off-topic or promotional reviews, and reviews written in exchange for payment, are prohibited and removed. A server owner cannot rate their own server, but can reply publicly.

6. Technical integration

The API, Votifier, webhooks and badge are provided free of charge, with no guarantee of continuous availability. API keys are personal: abusive use (mass requests, resale of data) may lead to their deactivation.

7. Sanctions

In the event of a breach, the publisher may, depending on its seriousness, remove content, delete votes, or suspend a server or an account. You can dispute a decision through the contact page.

8. Liability

The publisher does its best to keep the site running properly, but cannot guarantee permanent availability. The listed servers are run by third parties: the publisher is not responsible for their content, their operation or the rewards they promise.

9. Changes

These terms may change. Members are informed of significant changes by email or on the site.
